Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-13
IronClad Industrial LLC respects your privacy. This Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit an inquiry, request a quote, sign up for sourcing, or otherwise contact us, we collect the name, email, phone, message, and any vehicle / equipment details you give. When you buy from us we also collect billing and shipping address, payment method, and tax-exemption certificates (e.g. SCATE, ST-8A) when applicable.
Customer and invoice records. Records of estimates, invoices, payments, deposits, refunds, and notes related to your account. We maintain these as long as needed to provide the service and to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations (typically at least seven years).
Technical information. Standard server logs including IP address, approximate location (from IP), browser type, referrer, pages viewed, and timestamps. Used for security, abuse prevention, and basic analytics.
Cookies. The site uses essential cookies for session, theme preference, and CSRF protection. It does not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How we use it
- Respond to inquiries and follow up about units you asked about.
- Send transactional communication: invoices, payment receipts, delivery scheduling.
- Issue estimates, take deposits, record payments, and manage the sale.
- Comply with sales tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.
- Notify you when a similar unit comes in (sourcing requests).
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse (rate-limiting, spam protection).
- Improve the site and inventory mix.
3. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share only as needed:
- QuickBooks Online (Intuit, Inc.) — when an admin connects our system to a QuickBooks company, customer and invoice records sync to QuickBooks for accounting. QuickBooks is bound by its own privacy terms.
- Email delivery — outgoing email (invoices, replies, confirmations) flows through our SMTP provider for transmission. They handle the message in transit and do not retain it for marketing.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — anti-spam protection on the public contact / inquiry forms. Cloudflare receives request metadata to score whether the submission is automated.
- Payment processors — if you pay by card or bank transfer, the processor (e.g. Stripe, Square, our merchant bank) receives the payment information directly.
- Carriers and contractors — for delivery, repair, or transport we share the minimum information they need to do their job.
- To comply with law, valid legal process, or a subpoena.
- To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers or others.
4. QuickBooks integration
Authorized admins may connect this system to a QuickBooks Online company to sync customers, invoices, and payments. When connected, the relevant records you create here may be transmitted to QuickBooks. We authenticate with OAuth tokens; we do not store your QuickBooks login credentials. The integration can be disconnected at any time from the administrative interface.
5. Data retention
Customer and invoice records are retained at least seven years to satisfy tax and accounting obligations. Inquiries and contact-form submissions are retained while they are useful for follow-up, then archived. Logs are kept for a rolling window for security purposes (typically up to two years).
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including HTTPS, password hashing, CSRF protection, rate limiting, and access controls. No internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security and you use the service at your own risk.
7. Your choices & rights
You may:
- Opt out of non-transactional outreach by replying to ask us to remove you. We will still send messages necessary to fulfill an active sale.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing us at the address below. Note that we may need to retain certain records (e.g. invoice / tax history) to comply with law.
- California, Colorado, Virginia, and other state residents may have additional rights under applicable state law (e.g. the right to know what personal information we have, and to request deletion). Email us to exercise these.
8. SMS and phone
If we call or text you to follow up on an inquiry or active sale, that's transactional communication tied to your request. We do not run mass SMS marketing. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
9. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL. Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date at the top.
